~ Switching to a new Blog ~

Hello Kindred Friends ....

I am posting today to let you know that I am changing blogs ...It has been fun posting here ..however ..as I explained in my previous post we have been trying to get all of our ducks in a row per say ..by getting all of our sites and such under the same name.

Sweet Magnolias Antiques and Primitives has been Fun ...But we are now moving on to Sweet Magnolias Farm as of Today ...My Partner (my mom) will now be joining me and contributing to our new blog ..so you will get to hear from her ..and boy does she have Wonderful thoughts and ideas ..I look forward to her sharing with you all .

You won't want to miss out ..but it will mean a little work on your part ...Which we would so very much appreciate.

1st. if you have been a follower of our blog ..be sure to sign up to follow our new blog ..as we can't make you a watcher over there even though you were one here.

My WSOAPP Shop is now open

Hi all well I can't believe a week has already gone by since I last posted ..my how time flies when you are working away !!!

This week I worked on several things in the midst of going with my Parents to the Dr.s for my Dad. He had a shoulder injury and we had concern it was fractured or broke ..but we recieved good news that he is just fine ..and the swelling is from a membrane that covers the shoulder and it may take a few months for that swelling to dissipate...So after visits to 2 dr.s and the hospital for x-rays ..we are so glad that is the worst of it.

Inbetween Dad's week at the Dr.s I had my weekly Chiropricator visit and took Maggie my 13 yr old golden for her glucosamine shot at the vets. This will be her 3rd shot in a series of 4 this month ..and we are hoping this is the week we will begin seeing a difference in her severe arthritis. The Dr. gave me hope yesterday that this is the week some transformation should be seen. For her sake I sure hope so. !!

Well inbetween all that going on...as I wrote last week ..I have been preparing items for Early Works Mercantile and WSOAPP.

I am happy to say that my WSOAPP is Now OPEN !! Hip Hip Horray. I have 4 new offerings there now and hope to add more come April. If you are not aware ..at WSOAPP many of the artisans update throughout the month ..but also on the 7th of every month ..so it's fun to keep checking for new offerings.

OkeeDokee ..now Early Works Mercantile will be opening May 1st. which is this coming Friday !!! I think right now there are 25 artisans signed up and there will be a 1st of the month and 15th of the month group. However for the opening on May1st all artisans will be offering something for your pleasure !!!

Today On my Agenda is to start getting all our new product put on our new website ..and I am hoping we will open by the first week of May. I will keep you all posted.

In the meantime Drop by Etsy and visit us ..we have several new items we are offering there. Just may be something you can't live without !!!

I'm a Busy Bee

Well it's been a busy busy week ...and it seems things are only going to get busier ...

It always seem as spring arrives and the weather warms up that life take a bit faster pace ..and those months of sitting by the fire ..baking cookies and wrapping up in a blanket with a good book take a back seat .

I guess that's a good thing ..because life would get rather dull if we ended up doing the same thing all year round.

Well I have some exciting news....Starting May 1st ...the Early Works Mercantile will be opening it's doors for the 1st time ..their is a wonderful array or Artisans ..and I know you won't be dissapointed. Doreen Frost of Vermont Harvest Folk Art has headed up this Venture ..and I am honored to be part of this new group of artisans offering their wares.

I'm preparing for the Opening day ..and can't wait to show you my new offerings !

I will add a link to the mercantile on May 1st so be sure to check back so you can be one of the first in to see all the new offerings.

My next tidbit of news is I have been accepted to join the Whispered Secrets of a Primitive Past Group. ...You can find this group of artisans in a variety of places selling their wares from E-bay to Etsy ..to the WSOAPP Blog and their own personal web sites.

I am joining the ranks and will be opening my little WSOAPP shop ...Hoping to have my new items added in this week...I will keep you posted ..

For My next announcement ...My graphics for my website make-over have been completed and will now it's on me to get my new items added in ...I'm hoping to be re-open here in the next 2 weeks ..and again will post the opening day as soon as I get closer to it.

I'm really excited about my new graphics they are so reflective of me this time around and I love my new name ..Sweet Magnolias Farm is really more of what I was looking for ..and I hope you all love it too !

Lastly ..I am trying to make every place I sell cohesive ..all under the Sweet Magnolias Farm name ...so I have been making changes ...on E-bay I can now be found under my new name as well as etsy ..and I will be eventually letting this blog under the Sweetmagnoliasantiquesandprimitives address go. I am working on my new Sweet Magnolias Farm Blog ..hoping to have it up and running in the next week or so. The only down side is ..all of you who have become watchers I am going to have to ask you to join my new blog as a watcher instead ..as I can't transfer you over ..sure wish I could that would be so NICE !!

All these changes are really for the best that way I am easily found no matter where I am selling ..all anyone would have to do is google my name or put it in any search engine and I could easily be found. And although this all takes time to change it over in the long run ..it will be better.
